Do you own land within Rotherham Borough?
Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council has launched a Call for Sites as part of the preparation of its new Local Plan, providing an opportunity for landowners, developers and stakeholders to put forward land for future development or other potential uses.
The Council is seeking submissions for a wide range of site types, including:
Residential Development
Employment & Commercial Uses
Mixed-Use Development
Green Infrastructure & Environmental Projects
Renewable Energy Opportunities
Community Facilities & Services
Leisure & Tourism Uses
Submitting a site does not allocate it for development, but it does ensure the Council is aware of the opportunity and can consider it through the Local Plan process.
At IPD, we work with landowners to assess development potential, promote sites through the planning system and maximise land value through strategic planning advice.
If you own land within Rotherham Metropolitan Borough and would like to explore its potential, now is an ideal time to seek professional advice. Whether your ambitions involve development, regeneration or environmental enhancement, our team is here to help.
The Rotherham Call for Sites closes on 31 August 2026.
